Director, USA Operations, Canadian Commercial Corporation
The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is the Government of Canada's designated contracting authority for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requirements, playing a key role in strengthening bilateral defense relations between Canada and the United States. Through government-to-government agreements similar to the U.S. DoD’s Foreign Military Sales program, CCC facilitates the procurement of defense materials and services, aligning with the security interests of both nations. Under the U.S.-Canada Defense Production Sharing Agreement, as outlined in DFARS 225.870, CCC manages DoD contracts with Canadian suppliers for contracts exceeding $250,000.
Working alongside the Trade Commissioner Service and the Quebec Delegation, CCC engages with Canada's defense and security industrial base to expand defence trade between the two countries. As such, we are well-positioned to assist the DoD and U.S. primes in resolving supply chain challenges by connecting them with Canadian suppliers who may offer viable solutions. This collaboration strengthens the North American defense industrial base and enhances supply chain resilience.
