Rite-Solutions, Inc., is seeking a skilled and motivated Material Supportability Analyst in the Middletown, RI to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 34 Periscope & Imaging In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA). This position will provide customer focused material supportability analysis support to the NUWC Code 34 Imaging ISEA Team. The scope of support may be broad and in varied functional areas. An analyst in this position must understand the Imaging ISEA's vision and mission regarding material readiness for the Fleet. Increasing levels of responsibility are based on the complexity of challenges addressed by the analyst and the value provided to the customer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical studies of the Submarine Systems to evaluate performance against Navy Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) requirements.
- Perform and maintain data analysis of in-service systems and equipment.
- Independently execute system engineering lifecycle analysis and reports.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (Navy, government civilians, OEM, sub-contractors, etc.).
- Provide Line of Balance (LoB) analysis of in-service systems and equipment.
- Collect and analyze system failure data to identify and report potential failure trends, as well as associated failure modes, root causes, and parts replaced in response to the problems identified.
- Perform extensive analysis of methods to improve procedures, by conducting research and making recommendations.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to manage an engineering database and provide updates on project status.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables and deadlines.
- Proactively identify tasking bottlenecks and push work forward to meet project deadlines.
- Generate and maintain project/program technical documentation, presentations, reports, to meet customer requirements and assist in more efficient and effective operations.
Requirements & Skills:
- Must be a critical thinker with excellent capacity to analyze, understand, and incorporate technical information.
- Ability to effectively work independently and/or within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Intermediate-to-expert level proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to collaborate with team members, adapt to change, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment required.
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance with the US Government required, Active Security Clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or related experience to perform the requirements of the job preferred.
- Occasional travel may be required (roughly 10%).
